I am proud to live as a"Yooper" in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.   The long winters are a great time to play in the snow, or enjoy a hobby by a warm fire.  I have always enjoyed being creative and have found making something unique to be rewarding.  Jewelry making is one of my favorite ways to be creative.  There are so many types of materials that can be used to create something pretty and wearable.  Weaving Chainmaille is my favorite form of jewelry making.  I weave all of my pieces by hand, one ring at a time.  There are hundreds of weaves that can be created, and many more being created each day.  I am always working to learn new weaves and sometimes add my own personal touch.  I want my jewelry to be stylish, and wearable.  Creating Yooperlinks is another step in sharing my creations, and sometimes my talented husband's creations, with everyone!
